How many of you wait until the beginning of December to do your Christmas shopping? Or better yet, how many of you wait until the week of Christmas to do your shopping? Well, lets stop that trend this year. Start your Christmas shopping early. Yes, it is going on August; however, if you spread your shopping out over time, it not only feels like you aren’t spending that much, but that is less stress on you once the day finally rolls around.

So when you decide to pick up a few things here and there, take a look at this charming Heart Cluster personalized photo ornament. For those loved ones in your life who recently had a baby, this gift will melt their hearts. You can personalize the ornament with something special for them and their baby. You can send in a picture of the baby, or a picture of the baby’s footprints and have it designed just for them. They will be sure to love it!

Get started on that Christmas shopping early, even if it is four months ahead. You will save yourself some worry and hassle. Plus, it will not seem like you are spending as much. Because lets face it, shopping for gifts can make you feel a little buyer’s remorse. The less you are really focusing on it, the less it feels like you are emptying out your pockets.

But you will always have certain memories of that person that will become more and more dear to you, that will mean more than what they ever have. Aside from that, you may want to find other ways to celebrate your loved one’s life to keep those memories going for everyone else as well. Along with the word “Remembering” you could have their name engraved as well as an inscription of whatever you like with a maximum of 22 characters.

Ah, the holidays roll around and it is joy and cheer everywhere, right? Smiles can be seen for miles and with that, stress can be felt from even further. Gift buying goes above and beyond what it used to. It can feel like a rat race to the checkout line. Then again, the meaning is still there nonetheless. But while you are running from store to store trying to find gifts for your family, your office is planning a gift exchange. The person you were stuck with has said a good two words to you in the few years that you have worked with them. And all you know about them is that the color of car is red and you know that they might have three kids, or else they just have pictures of random children framed on their desk.

Now on to the fun part: what in the world do you buy this person when all you know about them is their name? Well, with this assortment of corporate gifts, you will be able to find something simple and thoughtful at the same time. For example, depending on whether they carry business cards, you could give them this Personalized Silver Plated Business Card Case. This handsome gift is handy and has a more personal touch to it that they will appreciate. Who knows, maybe it will open a door for you to get to know someone new! Or, if the receiver of your gift is a female, then she will love this Personalized Special Occasion Vase. You can have it personalized with her name or a friendly message. Again, it is a little more personal and they will feel like you went a little further than a quick stop at the gas station on the way in the work.

The gift exchange at work doesn’t have to be something you dread. Turn it in to a challenge of sorts; make it a personal endeavor to befriend someone new.

With the divorce rates higher than ever, it's even more cause to celebrate a couple that has been together through thick and thin.

For a silver anniversary, the 25th, have favors that reflect the silver of the occasion and there are many different types. You can create a whole theme around silver and use a silver or chrome bag and in it put some fun favors for your anniversary party attendees. A beaded silver frame will make a beautiful memento of sharing an anniversary party.

Think gold, gold, gold for a 50th anniversary. These are very special and make sure your guests know how much it means for them to share this very special anniversary. The beautiful gold-toned beaded frame will look stunning and make a wonderful presentation to your guests.

When you're planning your wedding, it's easy to get caught up in the moment and wind up spending a lot more than you originally budgeted for. Your wedding is your own to plan and you have control over every last detail, including how the you want the ribbons on your favors! A great way to ease the possibility of spending beyond your budget is to create a list of "must have's" and then create an honest budget of what you can spend for your wedding. This will probably eliminate or at least pare down a few items in the "must have's" list.

First of all, sit down with your groom-to-be, or whatever family members may be involved with the money end of your event. This way you can all sit down and lay your financial limitations out on the table. Also, brainstorm and put some thoughts on the table for what you and they would like to see on your special day.

You may have to limit your extras but in nearly all cases you can substitute less costly items for the more expensive items you wanted in your wedding ceremony.

Invitations are expensive and although you want them to look uniquely fantastic, you no longer are locked into having them printed. Many couples have saved hundreds upon hundreds of dollars by creating their own stationary at home on their computer. Just remember to proofread before you print!

If you're going to have an open bar at your reception, you may also be able to cut some costs by purchasing your own alcohol prior to the event. This way, some couples are finding that they can create a much less expensive version of the popular open bar situation by going and getting spirits from their local warehouse shopping club.

Also, if you're having an outdoor or more casual wedding reception, you can purchase all sorts of disposable items in bulk such as plates, napkins, silverware, tablecloths and more from your local warehouse shopping club for a fraction of what you'd spend elsewhere.

Favors are a definite must have, but you don't have to spend a ton of money to have truly elegant favors for your wedding guests. You can get your individual favors in bulk and then put them together yourself in a favor bag that reads, "Welcome to Our Wedding" and includes personalized favors for your guests. It looks very personalized but doesn't break the bank budget-wise!

As around your circle of friends for a photographer or DJ, you'd be amazed that some of your friends have been quietly practicing photography for years and other friends will either have DJ equipment or no one that does. You can save a large chunk of your budget by offering the spot to friends first. Some will do it for free, some will want a little reimbursement, either way it's still a more economical option than hiring someone you absolutely have no connection with.

Use these tips and make your wedding day uniquely "you", personalized and best of all, very affordable!

Do you have a special young lady in your life that is coming on her 15th birthday? If her family follows Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Central or South American traditions, she may be celebrating her Quinceanera. The ceremonies of the Quinceanera celebrate religious traditions as well as the virtues of family and responsibility of young adulthood. The custom is to welcome the girl on her 15th birthday as making her successful journey from childhood to young adulthood.

It's a very happy occasion with music, food and dancing after the ceremony. The celebration of La Quinceanera begins with a religious ceremony held in either a home or a rented banquet hall.

The Quincenera will have a court that is comprised of younger girls (her Dama) and younger men (her Chambelan or Escorte or Galan) and there are traditionally up to 14 persons plus the Quincenera which totals, 15 people.

The Quinceanera traditionally wears a beautiful long gown and her court is also dressed to the nines in gowns and formal attire. Guests attending normally receive traditional favors of capias (corsages) and ceramicas (small ceramic clay items). Modern day Quinceanera celebrations incorporate all of this and more. The favors are now expanded to include photo favors of the young lady, silver crosses or bells and other beautiful keepsakes.

Traditionally, the Quinceanera to receive the following gifts for her ceremony:

  • tiara
  • bracelet or ring
  • earrings
  • cross or medal
  • Bible or Prayer Book and Rosary
  • scepter
At the reception after the ceremony, there is a toast to the Quinceanera, known as the brindis. With traditionally decorated glasses, the attendees raise their glasses and offer congratulations on her big day. A doll is sometimes given to represent the things of childhood are now part of the past and she's a young lady now. The doll is kept as a keepsake of the Quinceanera.

Make her Quinceanera as uniquely special as she is, it's still very possible to keep with tradition and have unique favors to make her day as individual as she is!
