When I was a child and my imagination ran wild, I would create worlds all my own. From princesses to race car drivers, I pretended to be everything I could possibly be. My world was my world and revolved around my personality that day. Wouldn’t it have been great to have my own story book to go with it? That would have been perfect. When reading, it is great when you can really get in to the story and feel like you are with the characters themselves. So when you buy books for your children in hopes of giving them that sense of adventuring with the people in the story, think about giving them their own personalized story book with their name as the main character. Allow them to visualize the story line much more clearly. I would have loved to see my name in a book; that would have been so exciting!
