My family has never been very big on recycling. Not that they don’t care, it is just not something they thought about much. Along with that, my parents especially were never really educated on the abundance of recycling tips. On Earth Day in school, we would always get a very brief overview of the different ways to recycle and the great effects from it, but never was it stressed thereafter.

I’m not asking you to change your ways and devote time you don’t have in to something you don’t know much about. However, there are small, simple ways to help Go Green and take that one step to helping our environment.

One way: might you take coffee breaks often at work? Instead of using those Styrofoam or plastic cups, grab a mug! If you are a business owner in search of a way to thank your employees, do away with the plastic and buy everyone a coffee mug, you can even have them personalized! In the long run, you will save money without the need to continuously buy plastic or Styrofoam cups.

Do the earth a favor, better yet, do everyone around you a favor and Go Green any way you can. It can be a simple change that has an enormous effect!
